In 2017, during a time of extreme public scrutiny Foodstuffs were looking for a solution to their plastic bag problem. We introduced them to the “Bags Not” campaign we had designed with ad agency BCG2. They liked what they saw and jumped on as our major partner. “Bags Not” was a behaviour change campaign that focussed on highlighting the ridiculousness of using plastic to carry our shopping, and the multitude of solutions to help Kiwis make the required change – remembering to always take a bag shopping.
