Founded 27 years ago in New Zealand and established in London 13 years later, Ozone is an international specialty coffee company. As a proud B Corp business, Ozone upholds rigorous social and environmental standards across its operations. With multiple sites in New Zealand (NZ) and the United Kingdom (UK), the company champions transparency, long-term partnerships with coffee growers, and precision roasting techniques, ensuring they deliver exceptional coffee while continually working to reduce their environmental impact.
Ozone engaged us in September 2025 to help bring their emissions mapping up to date across both their NZ and UK operations. We completed four years of retrospective emissions inventories for each country. Following this, we developed tailored Emission Reduction Plans for both regions to guide Ozone’s next steps in achieving meaningful, measurable carbon reductions.
We worked closely with Ozone Coffee’s NZ and UK teams to build a complete and accurate picture of their emissions across all parts of the business. These updated inventories provide a strong foundation for future target-setting, support their current B Corp reassessment, and prepare the business for optional alignment with frameworks such as SBTi. The accompanying Emission Reduction Plans outline practical, region-specific actions that Ozone can begin implementing from FY26 onward.

For us, it reinforced the importance of designing reduction plans that are ambitious yet practical for dynamic, customer-facing businesses.
